You met with Bill Inman, one of the godfathers of data warehousing. He told you that negativity is going to get you nowhere in this industry. Why aren't these practices as common? It's hard work and so it's easier to sort of punt,. You know, do the second best thing or the best thing or whatever. We've forgotten a lot of the lessons that we learned back then like Larry Burns' book "The Data Bottle" which was really good.
