The Wrong Witch of the West
The show first debuted on November 10th 1969 but even seven years later the show is still in its relative infancy. Despite being 72 years old without the green face paint and the fact it was 36 years after the movie came out it's remarkable to watch this transformation happen. The appearance on Mr. Rogers did wonderful things for Hamilton the character and the kids who had been scared for generations. Unfortunately much of this would be undone less than a year later.
