Dols - Is the Plague Directly Caused by God?
Dolls argues that minority communities in moslem lands were not persecuted as a reaction to the plague, certainly not to the extent that they were in christian europe. He thinks this may be in part derivative of his claim that moslems did not generally believe in contagion, but rather believed that plague was sent directly from god.
