Can It Be Lonely When You're Writing a Book?

Almost all my time has been rewriting. I do imagine it being read by a different individual. Sometimes when I've written a paragraph that I'm particularly pleased with, I want to share it with somebody. And so I imagine her reading it and then say, well, okay, she wouldn't like that. It's too late to change it as far as he's concerned. But I nevertheless then read it again through his eyes. They're, oh, I wonder what he'll do. I should have thought that better. And then I do change it. So that's one of the avatars that one way to get an idea is to think about someone you just spoke to on the
