"I was generating something like five times more revenue. Oh my God," he says. "Now, now everybody's on silent." He adds that the lyrics side has 70% of its traffic from outside his company and only 30% from within it. The ringtone business is in decline because people are no longer willing to pay for a song they can't use as their own personal ringtone.
