Caffeine: A Good Pre-Workout
Almost every pre-workout that I've seen, at least 99%, one of the main ingredients is always caffeine. Caffeine spares muscle glycogen by causing your body to use more fat as a source. It stimulates chemicals in the body called catecholamines and noradrenaline. These stimulate an enzyme on fat cells which causes stored triglyceride fat to break down its component of fatty acids and glycerol.
