If you haven't had enough input if you're not familiar enough with the language yet but you're trying to say things anyway. sentence structure right like in Chinese my experience has been because the sentence structures are so different. If they're not used to dealing with foreigners who are relying on English grammar to speak Asian languages yeah yeah now that definitely happens in Japanese as welllike all the time I see Japanese learners like on Twitter trying to write tweets in Japanese and they're just clearly they're thinking in English and literally translating it which doesn't make sense in Japanese.
