What's the Difference Between a Pack Line and a Zone Defense?
Croq was always a man to man coach, never played or coached in a zone system. He felt like pack line was a great system of defense for division three because it relied on team and all five guys needed to be connected together. As he went through the season his principles changed from 100 percen packs to hard hedge coverages with flat-hugging at screens. Croq now has more tactical ideas than ever before - but still loves teaching players how to play rugby.
