Is There a Difference Between Utilitarianism and Natural Law Theory?
There's a thin conception of justice focused on rights and thinking back to Sandel here. It sounds like that's the worry, which is that natural law theory settles more questions than we want our legal systems to settle in a way. A truly utilitarian government would just be without principles because it would only have the one principle of utility.
