Is There a Widget on the Mac?

i think we're expecting to see some widget stuff on i o s, notification stuff. If the rumors are true, what's coming is like more interactive widgets in which you can actually do something without unlocking your or opening a nap that kind of stuff. The question is whether anybody will actually use it or adopt it. I'm very curious to see if any of that actually takes but i think idea of, like, how do we make ng our actions lighter is a really interesting one.
