The Congo's National Identity

When the Congo was formed in 1885 as a project of the Belgian King Leopold II, there was none. But over time, it has grown to have a very strong national identity. And that's something that I think has been forged through independent struggle and then through the 32-year rules of Maboutou Césseseseco. Arctic is extremely strong in terms of national identity as shared history, these shared struggles.
