The Radical Flank Effect on the Climate Movement

The radical flank effect is the idea that radical tactics about the radical flank of a social movement can actually increase support. It's basically a fancy way of saying good cop, bad cop. The long haul thing I think is very important because otherwise it isn't sustained and these one shot things don't work. And those in power change policy to reflect perhaps what these protesters slash the public in general would like.
