Would the Big Bang Have Been Heard in the Vacuum of Space?

Would the big bang have heard in the vacuum of space or sound needs air or at least a what was it not a substance but something to help it travel? No we wouldn't have heard the big bang because as you correctly say that sound requires a medium to travel through. But if you've got the void of space and you've then got this energy rippling out through space if there is nothing for it to convey through or make vibrate then that is not a sound. This just how deafening was the big bang and what was the first ever sound heard on earth do you think?
