Batman Begins was was pretty good and it was a success and then of course the Dark Knight which um was a huge box office hit. There was also a new Superman film that came out around the same time called Superman Returns I think that actually came out just before the Batman franchise was rebooted. Although those two Superman films have their fans it seems that they are considered generally to be well they are considered to be flops or they're considered to be average at best. But DC are going to go ahead with this strategy which is to make a series of other films based on their other characters  and then eventually create a Justice League filmwhich will showcase all the main DC characters together in one
