We first need to think does this patient have ascending colonitis and if they have symptomatic all-stone pathology i.e. right upper quadrant pain elevated liver enzymes as well as a fever or altered mental status. Naveen: This is where I remember always as a student a resident as well getting confused about the terminology here and how to make sure I'm thinking about the potential processes in the right way so can you walk us through how he approach this?
