The Importance of Communication in Comedy

I think with those kinds of projects, you really script out the scene ahead of time. The more scripted it is going into it, the more room you have for happy accidents and stuff will always change. I mean, that whole movie COVID happened in the middle of production. That whole movie changed dramatically once he had to go into the lockdown house because of the pandemic. So I think specific scenes maybe in his movie don't change. Well, I mean, you're really with real people, so you're always going to have change. You'll have like three or four times as many pages or jokes just because you kind of have to prepare for all sorts of scenarios.
