B R I - Technical Standard Setting for China

The b r ii has a specifically dedicated action plans on technical standard setting. It also pushed for corporation agreements, as actually around 100 corporation agreements with other states and regonts. The chinese are very well aware of the technological dependencies it can create if it succeeds in spreading and rolling out chinese technical standards through b r i projects. There was a heavy discussion within china whether to even establish a a b r i regional standard form that would have been sort of a new international standardization organization dominated by china. China is still considering doing this.
