The current agreed upon consensus is that watch time, which is the amount of time somebody spends watching a video, is worth more to you than views. So what a lot of people are doing now is making longer videos so you get more minutes that can be viewed. This pushes your watch time up, pushes you through the algarism, enhances your adrates. And it is believed that you tub is trying to do this to curb click lick view click bait because people would give click bait titles.
