The Pamphlets of the American Revolution

Professor Bailin wrote that he came across more than 400 pamphlets written about the revolution during the revolution. A pamphlet is a small brochure, a small book with no cover printed quickly and could vary in size from 10 to 200 pages. They contain sermons and lectures and personal correspondence and poetry which themselves are too ephemeral ever to have been recorded.
