Cancer develops at the sight of chronic inflammation in the gut, throughout the body. It's another example of how, in order to have health, we have to stop poisoning our world. Shilia was a born and raised in mussel shoals, alabama, where she grew up drinking water from the tennessee river valley watershed. Her family gave me permission to name her and talk about her story for this book.
