He says where no immediate action is called for by mental images of impacts from without these can be projected directly on the reflecting ether. And he says each time such a picture is thus used it gains vividness strength and efficiency and will compel action along its particular line more readily than previous actions. So I don't know I think this fits in nicely, almost like a glove. It makes sense to me. Like the human realm or whatever it is an evolution. He's just like in between. That's why we see him the way that we see him again.
