The four horsemen of the environment are noise, acoustics, temperature and lighting. If you're in a cavernous room without proper microphones, people are just not going to hear you. A lot of the stuff in the first section of the book isn't hard. But if I took 100 speakers, 98 of them are not going to go in and take care of the things they need to take care of.
