The Death Toll in China - The Death of a Chinese Survivor
The first official death toll was issued by authorities at 2.30 in the morning. They stated 59 people had died and 150 people were injured. An hour later, the numbers rose to 120 people that were dead with 100 injured. A Chinese survivor said she barely survived the crowd surge. Even thinking about what happened that night, she feels like she's suffocating.
