How I Met My Addiction, and How It Affected My Life
Yolanda started smoking and drinking when she was two years old. By the time she was 17, Yolanda had heavier, heavier adictions. After six years of living a meth-addicted lifestyle, her family intervened. She went on to lose more than 100 pounds before being diagnosed with hypothyridosis. The disease is thought to be caused by low levels of thyroid hormone in the body. It can lead to weight loss as well as other conditions such as depression or anxiety.
