How to Evaluate a Website's Backlink Profile
There's two key factors we've got spammy signals and types of links. You'll need to assess the overall backlink profile with a third party tool such as a address or semrush it's almost impossible to do this otherwise you can look in search console but it's really hard. Anchor text so is it over optimized is it clear that they've just built a ton of guest posts with a keyword in there for example. High quality links from hard sources keep an eye out for irrelevant links like foreign language links, porn or pharma or gambling are all red flags.
