Nolan Aronado's Opt-in to St. Louis Cardinals

Nolan Aronado opted out of his contract with the Colorado Rockies to join the St. Louis Cardinals in 2021. The decision was not a surprise, according to manager Mike Mattingly. He says it made sense because Aronado really wanted to stay in St. Louis and play for the Cardinals. "This is the place that gives him the best opportunity he feels to eventually win a World Series"
