How Many Transactions Do You Log a Year?
For us, we're looking to log about 1000 transactions a year. And then from there, we're typically buying two or three platform companies a year and somewhere between five and 10 add-on acquisitions. So for instance, if we got an investment banking teaser on a $200 million revenue company that was in the oil and gas industry, we wouldn't even log it. That's 1% roughly. From a new platform perspective, it's probably less than that.
