The Challenges of Sharing Data

My issue with the data is sometimes we can't get at it. How do we get at it? I think it's the infrastructure that lays behind some of the systems. Everywhere you look across the NHS and social services, everybody's on different systems. And I think that's what makes it difficult, especially in the sharing of that data. Some of what you're doing in your area could affect my area, but I don't know about it because it's not shared unless it's a research paper. That's something heavy that somebody has to go away and read and implement. But there are new standards coming out soon for nurse and documentation, new principles. So hopefully that will back us
