The Conflict Between Mind and Intellect
It's a conflict between intellect and mind. Our emotions and feelings may not allow us to do what we want to do. So, in order to avoid this problem, Lord Krishna says, he tells Abjuna, don't think about your philosophy. If you cannot do your duty with the highest spiritual perspective, then do your duty any way you want. But doing your duty is a first responsibility. And duty itself, efficiency itself may not be enough to give us a happy life. Some of the most efficient people are also the most depressed. Happiness only from an external perspective.
