General Practice - The BMA's First Ever Strike Hardship Fund
The BMA is also set up its first ever strike hardship fund. This money will be there to support people who want to take part in industrial action. The new health and social care secretary, Tres Coffey, has rebuffed all of its invitations to come and meet with senior members. It's fairly safe to assume that the BMA is preparing for strikes.
