The bill includes new taxes raising about 500 some billion dollars over the next ten years, something like that. And then an additional 200 billion dollars in health savings from allowing a medicare to negotiate drug prices and institute some price caps on specific drugs. The biggest one of those taxes is a new 15 % minimum tax on corporate alternative minimum tax. It kind of evolved out of a a talking point from the democratic primary that the biggest companies in in the united states don't pay any taxes.
