How to Avoid Conflicting Advice on LinkedIn

Don't go into these asking for something, right? Just like on LinkedIn, you don't go in and just start, well, what are you looking for? Don't push your opinion or your ask right away, build a relationship. Let that relationship kind of evolve, and if it is a good fit, let that person refer you on their own without you asking for it. And I personally would not refer or endorse somebody if I'm willing to put my brand at risk.
