Leaning Into Tough Conversations

The idea of tough conversations, you know, it wasn't actually part of the original company culture. It was something that we added later on. We do a thing called the clearing exercise and the clearing exercise is basically training wheels to have a tough conversation. If you give people the tools to like consistently have tough conversations and you normalize tough conversations,you remove things like fighting. And not conflict. Conflict always exists. That's fool's goal to think you can get rid of conflict, but you canget rid of fighting,. You know, get rid of gossip. Venting is just another word for gossip.
