What Happens in a Court of Law?
Presbyterians believe members should be admitted to the lord's table until they make a credible profession of faith. Elders are tasked with governance in the church, and will gather in what are called courts. The beauty of this system of government is that it recognizes the limitations and the depravity, remaining depravity, of man.
