How Much Time Trouble Do You Need to Avoid in Time Trouble?

I tend to lean on my ability in time trouble too much. I feel like if my opponent is a very strong chess player, i try to spend a lot more time in the opening such mill game to get a good position. And then going into the time scrambles, often i can convert my advantage,. Often when you think too much, you just secand guess yourself and it works worse than just moving. O am, so have there been, like, how has your blits game progressed over the past couple of years? Are you getting better?
