The Rise and Fall of Catholic Integralism

Vonsen: Catholic integralism is just not going to win over that many people unless you water down what you mean by Catholic integralism. The populists, the nationalists, the sort of illiberal types writ large, I think that's a still a growing thing and it concerns me greatly. Vonsen: Right now Catholic integralists can't say, hey, all of these years of secular political philosophy have gotten us nowhere. We need the church to assert more power.
