The Republican Party Base Is Trump's People's Base, Right?

The subtitle of this article is, you know, Republicans lost their party and got everything they ever wanted. And so I think it surprised a lot of evangelicals, at least the evangelical leadership in the party, that their voters were fine with being so transactional. They were most of these people probably don't like Trump, but that's the deal. It really is a bargain that was worth making as far as they're concerned.
