Asylum seekers forced to sleep on Toronto streets spent their first night with a roof over their heads after private volunteer groups intervened. Today, the federal government provided a financial boost, but it still falls short. The city of Toronto actually has a policy of ticking in whoever it need for shelter regardless of immigration status and that's been the policies.
