It really happens in the magistrate's court, because you don't wear a wig and a gown. Although I've also had experiences where I had a meeting with aReally high profile QC from a different chambers. And I went to the front of his chambers and I buzzed the doorbell. Because he assumed that a young brown man in a suit was a clerk from a different chamber. So yeah, it does still happen. Now when I see it happening, and I have seen it happening, I'm angry by it.
