Like confession, we go to confession in preparation to receive Holy Communion. We also need to be free from sin and simply put, you know, we ought not receive communion in a state of mortal sin. There's sort of a nexus there. And we talked too about that like interrelation of the devout life of our purifications of prayer of study,. You know, we can't really have one without the other.
