Every time that someone comes up with a new way to do this, we see the various industry and it's react normally through lawsuits. The RIAA would soon see its fears realized upon the birth of peer-to-peer sharing services namely Napster. These services became massive resources for pirates, first of music files and then later for all types of files. And in some cases, lawsuits might encourage people who otherwise wouldn't dream of pirating stuff to actually go to the dark side and do it.
