Introduction
This is our 46th annual performance of this ancient autumn equinox rite, which was inspired by Ishtar's descent and Princess Salamé's dance of the Seven Veils. The hinge of eight menhairs is erected with the alchemical altar in the center. There are lights on the Mars, east, the Venus, south, and moon, west, and Saturn, north menhairs. Upon the altar is an ampula, an incense boat, an air dagger, a bell and a thoroughbow with a firelaid. In thy pride thou hast forgotten, even death must surely die.
