Do You Have a Trial of Normal Sinus Rhythm?

The patient is has been started on Metoprol ER 50 milligrams daily she's reporting a rate of anywhere between 8510 beats per minute at rest. She might be aware of a little bit more dyspnea but she's also not entirely sure if that's because she's more aware of her breathing now that we've been with this new diagnosis and scared her about stroke so he were it sounds like we're trying to facilitate a visit with cardiology to move towards rhythm control. I'm just wondering what the decision tree looks like in terms of how you would actually achieve that.
