The first principle is you love writing, you're interested in doing it. You've got to get out and put yourself in like empathize put yourself in the shoes of other people,. understand where there's where there's white space in terms of the type of what's out there in the market. The intersection between that and what you enjoy doing should be your focus rather than just thinking about it.
This is the story of Stratechery, presented with much sheepishness on Ben’s part. How Ben thought about the market, his business model, and more. We apologize that this is a little long and perhaps a bit choppy. It’s hard to talk about us!
