I love how in the book, you also talk about how there's specific ways that women in particular can feel shame. Can you speak to that a little bit? Absolutely. Growing up as the only black woman in my evangelical surroundings, just had a lot of baggage from people just saying crazy things. For me, it has been, I call, I call it my constant companion.
