The Son of Man in Daniel Chapter Seven
In chapter eight and here in chapter nine, ezekiel sees now hereis the glory of god is still there. He sees that presence of god in the temple of god. This is a vision that goes from chapter eight to chapter 11. In daniel chapter seven, that that term will take on an entirely new meaning,. The son of man is the one to whom god hands all authority and power and dominion and kingdom. And so when jes claims to be the son of man, he's not merely claiming to be human; he's taking claim on that promise.
