Evidence suggests that consuming vegetable oils rich in omega-6 linoleic acid is linked with heart disease and the process known as atherosclerosis. In today's show, we're going to take a deeper dive into this literature and explore the connections between consumption of these industrial seed oils from soybean, canola, grape seed, and all the other cotton seed and so forth found in processed foods. High consumption of these foods actually oxidize your low density lipoproteins known as LDL, cholesterol that initiate the process called atherosclerosis which increases risk of major cardiac associated events.
