The Last Saviour
The caravan reached a particularly barren part of the desert, it was surrounded by robbers. The man insisted that, since he was protected, his accompanying the caravan would only be for the good. They sat down and wolfed all the pies in half an hour. Drugged by something in the food, they were lying fast asleep. And thus it was that the least likely saviour turned out to be the means of the saving of the caravan. I told this story because some one had shown me the draft of an article about us,. which expressed surprise that such a band of people could really be involved in anything important. At certain points, it seems as if our destination is impossible to reach.
