Journey CoLab is taking synthetic masculine through FDA to support alcohol use disorder. The company understood the spiritual and cultural implications of taking synthetic masculine, understanding that that is the main alkaloid within peyote. For many indigenous peoples, they don't see the molecule or the compound any differently than the peyote plant in itself. It was really important for us to imagine what a healing economy could look like for Journey CoLab.
