The Religious Rebirth of Language
The way in which each word is parsed to find a profound meaning in it, this is not how language works. The idea of words carrying so much meaning that an individual effectively can be burned at the stake was cancellation. So all the songs, you can just practically see them numbers. It's like a religious possession. They assume they'll be flagulating themselves. I think they've already started. Much like the Romans when they started arguing about religion, they fell into their fall.
